We purchased a 7 inch Asus Nexus Tablet nine months ago. The

touchscreen stopped working. Asus customer service said to

send in the tablet, it was still under warantee. When the tablet

arrived we received an email that the screen was broken and they

can fix it for $200.00. What a joke, we paid $230.00 new and they

want another $200.00 to repair a faulty product. My husband uses

the tablet for work, but we will not be extorted. Asus refuses to

do anything, and I hope we can start a class action lawsuit.

Asus stated they monitor every board and only have a few complaints. I think they meant hundreds of complaints. I hope

people save their money and buy from a reputable company that

stands behind their products.

Monetary Loss: $230.

Preferred solution: Fix the tablet and send it back, it is still under warantee..

I didn't like: It was a nightmare.
