Sometimes you actually get what you pay for. Asus brand is not the most reliable, altho it is cheap. Dump it, take your loss and buy a major brand laptop from HP, etc.

Asus Laptop Review

Bought a laptop for my wife at Christmas for her business. Within the first 3 months hard drive went. Now here we are less than a year later and the hard drive went. Keep sending it back for repair, my wife has been in contact with them and they JUST DON'T CARE!!!
